Born in Santa Barbara and raised in California, Dr. England attended Occidental College and worked as a Probation Officer before moving to Berkeley to pursue a graduate degree in Education. She taught in a rural primary school for several years. She studied Botany and accepted an offer to study elephants in the Peace Corps, Malaysia. It was there that she realized the basic importance of health care for all. She is still working on saving the elephants.
Soon after returning home, she left for New York to study for a career in the health professions. She attended medical school at the University of California, Davis, and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Ventura County Medical Center in 1999. She has worked in several venues in Ventura, practicing full-spectrum Family Medicine, including delivering babies for 15 years. She is now pleased to be a part of Primary Medical Group.
Hiking and birding are high value pastimes, as are architecture, art and perfecting a repertoire of plant-based meals. She lives in a house of her own design in Ventura.
